One of the most successful boxing gyms in Georgia, "12 Rounds," has been operating since 2021 and offers the public a high standard of service in boxing and group training. What is the history of "12 Rounds"?

Since childhood, I have been drawn to two radically different fields—folklore and sports. I started playing water polo at the age of three, then moved on to powerlifting (three-time Georgian champion), and at the same time, I got into boxing. A bit later, bodybuilding became a part of my life, and I competed in many local and international championships. In 2023, I won six gold medals and achieved a historic result at the IFBB World Championship – Master's Men's Physique (40-44 years, Open category), reaching the top 5 in the final (a historic result); and at the IFBB President Santonja World Cup 2023, in Master's Men's Physique (40-49 years, Open category), another historic result.
I wanted to show that age is just a number. No matter how busy you are, it’s always possible to find time for training and to try everything that your gym customers aspire to. You must lead by example, not just manage from the sidelines. As I mentioned, I’ve been involved in sports my whole life, and I've always envisioned an ideal gym with plenty of boxing bags and equipment. During the pandemic, a friend of mine introduced the idea of creating a gym. I remember saying, "You're stealing my dream." Every piece of equipment in the gym was chosen carefully as part of one big concept that evolves and updates from branch to branch. I can boldly say that in terms of boxing, there is no gym in Tbilisi that is as comprehensively equipped as we are. We are number one!
What do you offer to the public?
At the "City Mall" branch, we have a combined space for boxing and functional training. All the elements and exercises performed in this space are tailored from start to finish to meet both boxing and individual needs. At the Vake branch, we offer a broader range of services with four conceptual spaces that allow for various training options: boxing, circuit exercises of different intensities, yoga, and access to a modern GYM area. Additionally, you can enjoy delicious coffee, meals, and even work online without leaving the gym. Our membership includes all group exercises.
It's important to note that, in our group training sessions, we have not just one but two coaches to ensure that every client receives equal attention. Moreover, we have become the official distributors of TITLE Boxing, the leading brand in the world of boxing. As a result, we offer our customers the highest quality boxing and sports equipment accessories.
Let's talk about the coaching school (12 Rounds Coaching School).
Natia Gharibashvili and I founded this school. I had the idea for a very long time, and I devoted a lot of time to creating the right space and perfecting the training program. I’ve always wanted to share the knowledge and experience I’ve gained during my sports career with others. The school offers two tracks: coaching and basic. The basic track is for those who haven’t had previous experience with training or theory but are eager to learn. The course covers general anatomy, biomechanics, basic nutrition, etc. The coaching track is much more comprehensive, with in-depth theoretical and practical sessions and more training hours.
Future Plans
We have many exciting plans ahead. One of the key projects is the opening of a new branch. It will be an amazing branch in the Gldani area, located in a new mall. It will be larger than the Vake branch and will feature many innovations, new brands, and even more services tailored to our customers.
